Who We Are
We specialize in facilitating processes whereby you can come to meaningfully direct your life. We intentionally invoke the principle that “you are who you are, and it’s what you do with it that matters.”

Her co-leadership at the Center for Creative Choice reflects a deep commitment to transformation as both a mystery and a practice.

Roger T. Strachan, Ph.D.
Founder

Earning a Ph.D. under the precepts of the scientist-practitioner model, Dr. Strachan was educated in scientific psychology and applied counseling skills. Neurophysiology, genetics, consciousness, and clinical psychology were and are his special interests. Throughout his career he has taught undergraduate and graduate courses in psychology, trained many therapists, and maintained a private counseling practice for over 60 years.
Many of Roger's clients have been professional healthcare providers, business professionals, couples seeking more intimacy and connection, and people experiencing major life transitions. This work inspired Roger to begin Center for Creative Choice in 1973. In the ensuing years, he has taken individuals, couples, and families into office and wilderness settings to work with their special issues.
His training and teaching in Gestalt Therapy provided a base for the creation and development of a theoretical model entitled Self Soul Spirit, which lies at the core of our work here at Center for Creative Choice.
